Beach weekend!

Image
Our family is used to having weekend outings. Last weekend was one of them. We went to Aeres Beach in Pagkilatan, Batangas. The beach is not yet well developed. There's too many rocks underneath, although the water itself is clean. I had a small wound on the medial aspect of my left big toe because of the rocks. =( We also dropped by the miraculous healing stone in Montemaria which is made famous by Father Fernando Suarez. All the pics are in my fb account. Here are some. Went to my bestie's house first before leaving for Batangas. Got my pasalubongs from her SG trip. I asked her to get me Reese's chocolate from USS. I rarely see them in the supermarkets here. Sooo happy! =) These is the miraculous healing stone I was talking about. We literally lied down on it, and hugged it.  The beach. Our family is really vain. We love to pose and take pictures of ourselves! =) Look at my grandma. :D and Yaya. :D The lad

Myth of the Human Body

Image
Last Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, we had our educational tour on "The Myth of the Human Body" in Taguig. It is an exhibit of the human body. Here, guests can expect to see real cadavers that underwent the process of plastination, in which samples are dried, and then processed in a vacuum. Its educational for most people, but for us med students, we honestly didn't appreciate it much. I mean, we get to see and dissect real cadavers in school so seeing those body parts is not much of a big deal. The only difference is that in their exhibit, you will really see every single detail there is in the human body. Like even the smallest muscle, bone, ligament, nerves, arteries and veins -that we appreciate. If not only for the grade incentive we will receive if we come to the tour, I definitely would not have come. Here are some of our pictures. I'll post here majority of the pictures with myself on it. Hahaha! :D Other pics are in my fb account. Grabbed them from my classma

The Script Live in Manila!

Image
April 16, 2011 at Araneta Coliseum. This concert will not be the same as what happened in Yellowcard. Hahaha! :D Unfortunately, I won't be able to watch the Yellowcard concert cause I still don't have money to buy the ticket. And the concert is on Sunday right?  Damn! I'm really sad I'll miss this opportunity to watch them live. :'( Oh well, that's life. Anyway, there are many artists who are going to have a concert here in Manila this April. Bruno Mars on the 9th, The Script on the 16th and Switchfoot on the 30th. Awww. I want to watch all of them! If only I have the money. Lol. But if I only get to choose one, I'll choose The Script. :) I love their music. I fell in love with them in their first hit "The Man Who Can't Be Moved". Oh I love that song! Then "Breakeven", "For The First Time", and my current favorite song of theirs, "Nothing". Their songs are really good. The lyrics and the melody. In sho

Happy Heart's Day! ♥_♥

Valentine's Day this year is so awesome! I spent it listening to my prof in Physio class, then alone here in the four corners of my dorm. Lol. :D Damn! Good thing its not well celebrated here in school. I mean, I barely saw couples holding stuff in their hands, like a bouquet of flowers or chocolates. Haha. Bitter mode? :)) So, I decided to have a mini celebration. Its my "Baboy Ko's" 2nd birthday today. Yes that's his name. I got him on a valentine's day some 2 years ago from a special someone.  Bought a mini blueberry cheesecake in Rustan's worth Php79.00. And so the taste is also worth 79. Hahaha. Eating this while singing "My Valentine" by Martina McBride. LMAO! Anyway, so much for spending the V. Day alone. Here's a picture. :) XOXO ♥

Want you sooo bad!!! =( We had our educational tour earlier. Went to "The Myth of the Human Body" in The Fort and my classmates brought their SLR's. I'm so envious! I borrowed my classmates' 500D and I can't stop taking photos from it! The resolution and quality is excellent! These SLR costs 36k. I love taking photos and I would love an SLR someday. Need to save money!  I'll blog about the tour after they uploaded our pics. :) XOXO ♥

Bestie Day!

Image
Last night, me and my BFF went out. God! I missed her so much! She is my one and only best friend and I love her so much! It's her birthday last week and we celebrated it last night. Went to Greenbelt. We ate at Chili's. Love the food by the way! Then watched "Love and Other Drugs". Full of sex scenes. I really appreciated Anne Hathaway's tits. It really looks good and soft and big. Lol! :D The movie is 'good' for me, but my bestie didn't appreciate it much. She said she was sleepy throughout the movie.  Hahaha! Greenbelt was so crowded. Don't know why. And so we went to Glorietta 5 cause we were "uhaw" for an ice-cold beer. Lol. :D Had it in Giligan's. After that, we don't want to go home yet so we looked for a coffee shop. All coffee shops are full so we decided to go to A.Venue to have coffee in Coffee Bean. Went home at around 1am. The night was so fun! We had our usual chismisan and kwentuhan non-stop. And of course, food
